



This route shows the visitor the harsh working conditions of miners during the first half of the twentieth century. It is a bucolic route through fields, gullies, steep black pine and fir tree forests with spectacular views. As part of the route one can see the surroundings of the mines: the lockout, the foreman´s house, the buildings where the miners lived, the latrine or the remains of the cable railway used to transport materials. The machine room is the starting point for the guided visits in the summer.
The return is on a trailconditioned with logs and follows the entrances of the superior galleries which follow the principal seam of the mine. To make the last ascent worthwile there is a picnic area in the Arres Pond where a goog observer can distinguish the newts of the tadpoles before returning to Arres de Sus.
