A paraglider is an aircraft made only on the basis of fabric and strings, without any rigid structure than the pilot's seat. The origin of this activity dates from the late seventies, when a parachute jumping specialist, tried to take off from a steep slope to save the lift with the plane. That was the beginning.
A glider can fly about nine meters per meter of height lost (I plan 9 / 1) and flight speeds over 50 km / h, which for a fabric structure is a lot. With this ability to glide is possible to take advantage of rising air currents, and remain without landing for a long time, sometimes hours.
The tandem paragliding is the easiest and safest way to make contact with the sport. In tandem the pilots are qualified and very experienced. No prior knowledge is required.
