Himàlaia Baqueira Hotel is pleased to offer an Oil Painting Stage "Plein Air" during the dates of July and September 2010 to enter to the wonderful world of oil painting. The Stage will be directed by the renowned Catalan artist Xavier Bisbe and will be held at the hotel Himàlaia Baqueira and in various places of the Aran valley outdoor.

During the stage the student can learn and get into the techniques of drawing with pencil, charcoal and oil painting. We will study composition, perspective, color .. and learn how to choose a theme, to take action against the model to be transferred to canvas, etc..

The Stage is ideal mainly for people interested in getting started in the paint, and do not need any prior knowledge. It can also be very useful for initiates in oil and never have dared to paint outdoors. The fact of painting in a group and accompanied by a recognized artist, creates an atmosphere that is charged with painterly energy and helps to develop creativity in surprising ways.

The artist tutor will adapt to the level of each participant, with full respect for his style and technique.

Stage price: 685 € per person. taxes included

Supplements: For individual travelers there is a charge for using double room as single of 20 € a day.

The maximum number of participants for each Stage will be 8.
