The vias ferratas are sports itineraries situated the length of a rock wall, equipped with specific features: cable handrails, iron footholds, cable walkways, etc. They are intended to facilitate vertical progress and to optimise the safety of those who use it. This activity, halfway between mountaineering and climbing, allows vertical progress to be made by combining accessibility with risk, so that time can be taken to admire the beauty of the route from on high.
The Himàlaia guides have been practising this activity each summer for years now, and they invite their guests to try it out, following beginners' itineraries with just 150 metres change in altitude, up to 400 metres for the more advanced. The routes are fully equipped and are completely safe, so participants do not have to worry about anything but having a good time.
You can always make a reservation whenever you wish for this activity by mentioning it in your reservation or at hotel reception two days in advance. The Himàlaia guides will then provide you with all the information necessary to carry out this activity in complete safety and without any problems.
